The historic “Nardi” brand acquired by IDG
The acquisition of the Nardi brand by Italian Drying Group srl (a subsidiary of Incomac srl) will create a network between 2 realities with more than 25 thousand systems installed all over the world
Tradition and technological innovation lie behind the acquisition of “Nardi”, a brand that has made the history of wood drying plants in the world, by Italian Drying Group (IDG), a company wholly owned by Incomac srl in Montebelluna.
An operation that gives life to a reality among the first in Europe, with over 25 thousand plants installed worldwide. The creator of the acquisition is the entrepreneur Livio Torresan.
In 2019 Livio, together with his business partner Gino Santin, acquired Incomac srl, a company with 40 employees that produces wood drying kilns. After having brought the company to an exponential growth in turnover (from 1.3 million to almost 8 million euros) with an export share of 95% in just 4 years, he believed in the acquisition of Nardi’s intangible assets for the great history it represents.
“We couldn’t let such valuable know-how get lost. For this reason we have aimed to acquire intangible assets, made of intangible resources and specific skills, which we intend to revamp together with a brand that represents a guarantee of absolute quality» Livio Torresan.
